Peggy strives to capture the uniqueness and personality of the individuals she paints.  Her use of a bold and rich palette makes her portraits interesting in and of themselves.  Her rich colors appear different as the light changes  Viewed closely, the highlights in a subjects’ hair might have shades of purple or green while a white shirt may have shades of blue. 

 

Peggy’s philosophy is  if you want a photographic portrait, you would be better to take one and hang it on the wall.  However, her portrait will capture the essence  and uniqueness of her subject.
